Summary of workshop
A work shop of two days was held on 27th of February and 1st of March 2018 about:
“Promoting Self-Confidence among Bachelor Students” by Dr. Tara Fuad Tahir in the Faculty of Science and Health.
The first day of the workshop was included many topics:
- Difference between self-confidence and self-esteem
- Ego and self-confidence
- Suppressor of self-confidence
- What is bullying and their types
- Abusing
The second day of the workshop was about how to improve self-esteem and self-confidence through training thought and setting goals. Undergraduate and postgraduate students were joined the workshop from different faculties of Koya University.
The students have learned the ways to enhance their self-confidence and self-esteem and how to protect themselves from bullying and abusing. They shared their stories of suffering from bullying and abusing and there was an open discussion including questions and answers.
At the end of the workshop a ceremony was held to provide the participants a certificate of successfully joining the workshop.
