Mathematics in Multi-Disciplinary Science and Technology Research workshop (MMDST)

Office of Vice President for higher education and scientific research announces that MMDST is organized by Department of Mathematics at Faculty of Science and Health at Koya University in cooperation with Applied Computing Department at Buckingham University, United Kingdom.

Mathematics in Multi-Disciplinary Science and Technology Research workshop is about existence of an important relation between Mathematics, Natural Science and Technology that can be seen obviously in many famous researching centers all over the world. Mathematical Science can be used in other fields such as Biology, Computer Science, Industry, Computational Chemistry, and Physics …etc. It is not surprising that famous publications in Mathematics are those which are applied in other scientific fields.

Professor Sabah A. Jassim from Applied Computing Department will talk about ‘Mathematics Research in the Digital Age’. The Dean of FSCH (Dr. Shwan K. Rashid) will present an analysis about Genome Sequencing Project while five PhD students at Buckingham University who are members in the Department of Software Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering at Koya University will present their work on different areas of computing.

Objectives of the workshop:

• To orientate the quality of the research projects in the Department of Mathematics towards Multi-Disciplinary Science and Technology.

• To enhance scientific collaboration between our researchers in the Department of Mathematics at Koya University and others at Buckingham University, United Kingdom.

• To open the door for the researchers in other scientific fields to have join researches with the Mathematics Science such as Bioinformatics, Medical Science, Physics, Chemistry and Technology.

MMDST workshop will be held on Monday, 1st December 2014 in Koya University Presidency, Hall LT1001 from (9:00 am - 4:00 pm).

بەشى ماتماتيك لە زانكۆى كۆيە وۆرکشۆپی ماتماتیک لە توێژینەوەکانی زانستە هەمەچەشنەکان و تەکنەلۆجیا بەڕێوە دەبات

ئۆفيسى ياريدەدەرى سەرۆكى زانكۆ بۆ كاروبارى زانستى و خوێندنى باڵا ڕايدەگەيەنێت، بەشى ماتماتيك وۆرکشۆپی (MMDST) دەربارەی پەیوەندی نێوان ماتمایک و زانستە هەمەجەشنە جیاوازەکانی تری وەک زانستە سروشتیەکان و تەکنەلۆجیا بەڕێوە دەبات.

ئەم وۆرکشۆپە بە سەرپەرشتی بەشی ماتماتیک لە فاکەڵتی زانست و تەندروستی زانکۆی کۆیە بە هاوبەشى لەگەڵ بەشی (Applied Computing) ی زانکۆی باکینگهام بەرێوە دەچێت. بە بەشدارى بەرێز پرۆفیسۆر دكتۆر سەباح جاسم لە زانکۆی باکینگهام ی وڵاتی بەریتانیادا. لەگەڵ پێنج خوێندکاری دکتۆرا کە لەهەمان کات توێژەری زانکۆی کۆیەن لە بەشی ئەندازیاری پرۆگرامسازی.

زانستی ماتماتیک لە زۆربەى بوارەكانی تری زانستی بەکار دێت و تووێژینەوەی گرنگ لەسەر ئەم پەیوەندییە لە سەنتەرەکانی تووێژینەوەی جیهاندا هەیە. بەمانایەکی تر، گرنگترین تووێژینەوەکان لە بواری ماتماتیک ئەوانەن کە بەکاردێن و پەیوەندیان لەگەل تەکنەلۆجیا و زانستەکانی تر هەیە.

ئامانجەکانی ئەم وۆرکشۆپە بریتیە لە:

• • بەرزکردنەوەی ئاستی زانستی و جۆریەتی ئەنجامدانی تویژینەوەکانی بەشى ماتماتيك بۆ ستانداردێکی جیهانی.

• • ئاشناکردنی مامۆستا و توێژارەکانی بەش و فاکەڵتی و زانکۆ بە تازەترين بابەتەکانی توێژینەوەكانى جیهان.

• • دەرفەتێکە بۆ زیاتر لێکنزیک بوونەوەی بەشە هاوشێوەکان وەک ماتماتیک و ئەندازیاری پرۆگرامسازی. ئاشنا بوون بە چۆنیەتی بەکارهێنانی بیردۆزە بیرکارییەکان (ماتماتیکیەکان) لە زانستەکانی وەک پزیشکی، بایۆلۆجی، کیمیايی و فیزیا.
