About Conference
Koya University organizes its 2nd international conference on petroleum in 2017 with scientific sponsorship of IEEE and official support from the ministry of higher education and scientific research of the Kurdistan Region (KRG). Having more than 45 billion barrels of oil and 200 trillion cubic feet of proved gas reserves, the Kurdistan region distinguishes itself as a key oil and gas source in the Middle East. The oil and gas development activities in the region have been increased rapidly over the past ten years; therefore, the environmental protection became more and more important. The EIOGI 2017 conference that will be held at Koya city, one of the oil rich cities in the Kurdistan region, is expected to attract a high number of local and international oil and gas companies, experts, scientists, engineers, academicians, researchers and NGOs from all over the world. That is why this conference can be considered as one of the most important events in the Kurdistan region dealing with the environmental impacts of the oil and gas industries and becomes a perfect platform for global networking.

زانكۆى كۆیه دووهمین كۆنفرانسى نێودهوڵهتى له بوارى نهوت و گاز سازدهكات له ساڵى 2017 به پاڵپشتى زانستى دهزگاى IEEE ى نێودهوڵهتى و پاڵپشتى فهرمى وهزارهتى خوێندنى باڵاو توێژینهوهى زانستى له ههرێمى كوردستان.
بهههبوونى زیاتر له 45 ملیار بهرمیل نهوتى یهدهگ و 200 تریلیۆن پێى سێجاى گازى سروشتى, ههرێمى كوردستانى عێراق به یهكێك له گهورهترین سهرچاوهكانى نهوت و گاز دادهنرێت له ڕۆژههڵاتى ناوهڕاستدا.
دیاره چالاكییهكانى پێشخستنى كهرتى پیشهسازى نهوت و گاز له ده ساڵى ڕابردوودا بهشێوهیهكى بهرچاو له ههرێمى كوردستان گهشهى بهخۆیهوه بینیوهو ڕووى له زیادبوون كردووه, ههربۆیه پاراستنى ژینگهى كوردستان له كاریگهریهكانى ئهم كهرته تا دێت زیاتر پێویستر دهبێت.
بۆیه كۆنفرانسى نێودهوڵهتى كاریگهریه ژینگهییهكانى نهوت و گاز له ههرێمى كوردستان كه له شارى كۆیه سازدهكرێت، یهكێك له شاره دهوڵهمهندهكانى ههرێمى كوردستانه به نهوت، چاوهڕوان دهكرێت سهرنجى بهشێكى زۆرى كۆمپانیاكانى بوارى نهوت و گازى نێودهوڵهتى و ناوخۆى بۆ خۆى ڕابكێشێت، ههروهها خهڵكانى شارهزاو زانایان و ئهندازیاران و خهڵكانى ئهكادیمى و توێژهران و ڕێكخراوه ناحكومییهكانى ئهم بواره له سهرجهم وڵاتانى دونیا.
ئهم كۆنفرانسه به یهكێك له چالاكیه ههره گرنگهكان دادهنرێت له كوردستان كه تیایدا به توێژینهوهى ڕهسهن كاریگهریهكانى كهرتى پیشهسازى نهوت و گاز لهسهر ژینگه دهخاته بهرباس و تاووتوێكردن و دهكرێت ببێته پلاتفۆڕمێكى زۆر گرنگ بۆ دروستكردنى پهیوهندى نێودهوڵهتى لهو بواره.
